"True Love W8s" is a poetic band formed in 2018 in Barcelona. The band consists of Makis Moulos (poetry, sound effects), Xávi Pericàs (violin), Nikos Anastasopoulos (guitar). The idea behind the creation of the band is a poetic concert, based on the poetry of Makis Moulos combined with famous songs that have been influenced the members of the band since they were teenagers. In each performance, the band invites different female singers and other musicians to complete the performance. In Duende Sessions Festival 2021, the band has invited Michelle Houwers from Athens for the female vocals and the pianist Pere Gavern from Barcelona.

"True Love W8s" have performed in various events in Barcelona the last 4 years, trying to connect poetry with memories of the past. The name of the band comes from the song of Radiohead "True Love Waits", which is the song they combine with the poem "Just a fuck".

"True Love W8s" are the headliners of the poetry part of the festival and they will give us a poetic concert to remember, which will last approximately 40 minutes.
