Maria Baka (Greece), lives in Athens where she works as an accountant and at the same time, she holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing. Maria is a poet, slammer and spoken word artist and she is the co-organizer of “Poetry Slam Gr”, poetry slam tournament in Greece. Her poems are mostly about society, racism and she is interested in existential feelings and behavior.

Maria is also into collaborative spoken word performances and a painter hobbyist, which helps her express her emotions before putting them into words. Her performing style is deep thoughtful and keeps your attention to the story behind each word and its purpose.
