Director Duende Sessions Festival
Makis Moulos (Greece,1980), is a trilingual writer and a spoken word artist based in Barcelona. He uses his confident style to explore themes such as sexuality, stigmas and gender. He has published 4 personal poetry anthologies and collaborated in 2 books of short stories in Greece. He writes and performs in English, Spanish and Greek and you can find him performing mostly everywhere in the English poetry scene of Barcelona. Makis is the organizer of the monthly event "poENtry slam" (Poetry Slam tournament in English) in Barcelona and "Poetry Slam Gr" in Greece, and the publisher of the quarterly magazine “poENtry slam” in Barcelona. He is also the director and artistic manager of "Duende Sessions Festival" and collaborator of the new, inclusive World Poetry Slam Organization. Since 2018 he is experimenting with adding live music in his performances and spoken word collaborations. Violin, experimental music and creative writing, is what gives him the air to breath.

Makis will perform with his band "True Love W8s", giving us a poetry concert with new and older poems and songs.

Makis has also started the new project of experimental art Digital Girl, in collaboration with Jane Dalida and videos of the project will appear in the video poetry part.
