AYALA

Héctor Ayala (Mexico, 1989), is a multidisciplinary performer, writer, and event organizer. From rap to drag queen stand-up comedy, Héctor has been involved in the spoken word and stand-up comedy scenes both as a performer and event organizer since 2017. His work in both disciplines explores identity, his home country (Mexico), and deep introspective journeys. His work often reflects the influence of his family, politics, spirituality, and a glimpse of his philosophy about existence. His performance style is always intense, energetic, and humorous at times.

Hector has performed in London, Romania, Berlin and in his current base Barcelona, where he co-created and currently co-hosts ETC, a monthly event of spoken word and hip hop.
