European Poetry Slam Championship 2023
Back to its birthplace of Antwerp for the 10th edition
For a long time, slam poetry was regarded as the little sister of poetry and literature. The art form has conquered the world, with a European championship as its crowning achievement. In between performance and poetry, slam poets give the best of themselves. For the tenth edition, the European Poetry Slam Championship returns to Antwerp, where it all began. The cream of European poetry will gather on the Blue Hall stage for an impressive linguistic battle. Twenty national slam champions will come together for a two-day competition, framed by debates, talks and a networking moment. Who will be crowned champion of the WPSO’s Euro Poetry Slam 2024? Inspired by the themes and the legacy of Julius Eastman, the European Poetry Slam Championship will be part of the Downtown New York festival.

Mama Fiera
SPAIN
Hello, my name is Mama Fiera and I'm not sure how I got here. Whatever the reason, I'm happy to be a part of this party. Maybe that's why I was attracted to art since I was a child, before I knew it was art, and that's why I think I also started writing poetry before I knew it was poetry.
